Brain Training!

Over the course of this term,  two lucky Year 7 groups will be involved in a project using the Nintendo DS and Brain Training to improve their Maths.  Prizes will be awarded to students showing the greatest improvement!

Letters will be sent to the parents of the students involved.  Once we have evaluated the effectiveness of this project, it is intended to extend the use of these machines to other groups, assuming it has been shown to have made a difference.

AFTER SCHOOL MATHS CLASSES

The following classes are being offered:

Tuesdays:  (staff training and other meetings)

Wednesdays:  Year 9 Maths revision (9FN1) with Miss Edwards in M2

Thursdays: Mrs Romero's after school study class (Year 10) in M3;  Year 10 GCSE Statistics (3pm to 5pm) in M1
