Maths Counts!

Our aim is to ensure that all students leave the school with the highest possible skills in Mathematics, that they are numerate and confident in the handling of Mathematics and prepared Mathematically for the 21st Century World. In addition, we hope that students will appreciate the enjoyment of Mathematics from the satisfaction of solving equations to the fascination of number sequences. Finally, we aim to prepare students to use calculators and computers in an appropriate way to solve harder Mathematical problems when mental methods are unsuitable.

Please can we remind parents that ALL students are required to have a calculator. Half of all external examinations require the student to use her calculator. Should you need guidance as to which sort to buy, please get in touch!
