Dorset Skills and Enterprise Challenge
Avonbourne girls took part in a recent Dorset Enterprise and Skills challenge at the Carrington Hall Hotel in Bournemouth, acquitting themselves well against older and more esperienced competition. The team, Laura Miller, Nicole Geraghty, Emaline Forsyth-Smith, Maria Pulman and Joelle Weir, were commended on their achievements. They designed an innovative wrapper for a chocolate bar, displaying the photo of the person who had just bought it! In addition to their commendation, Laura Miller, the company MD, won the prestigious award, 'Dorset Young Entrepreneur of the Year'. Congratulations, we are all very proud of you, Laura, and the rest of the team.
