Year 8 African Dance Competition!
Congratulations to Esme, Eve, Carmen, Emily and Genna who won the African Dance competition!
Congratulations to Esme, Eve, Carmen, Emily and Genna who won the African Dance competition! Miss Gilroy ran the competition as part of the African Dance module and the finals were held during Lunchtime Ents on Friday 25th January. The winners from every form performed with great energy, enthusiasm and some very impressive costumes! Well done to all those who took part and for the time and effort they put into rehearsing before the finals. The winning group will now go on to work with a professional African Dancer and Drummer to create a piece to perform at the Lighthouse, as part of 'Footprints of South Africa' on Saturday 28th June 2008.
