Aim Higher Roadshow
The University visits Avonbourne
On Thursday 31st January, one hundred and twenty Year 9 students took part in the Aim Higher Roadshow at Avonbourne School. The students watched DvDs in which graduates spoke about some of the courses they were studying at University and three possible scenarios or different routes to take after leaving school. The students were able to ask questions about University life, student loans and routes into Higher Education. At the end of the presentation they were given information on 'Don't stop doing what you love' and 'Help your child into Higher Education', and a free pen! The pupils were enthusiastic and felt the event very useful and worthwhile.
