What are they?
'Learning platform' is an umbrella term used to cover software whose core role is to manage learning materials for students.
How can they help?
Learning platforms give every learner access to personal online webspace, where they can store course work and their achievements. They also give every teacher access to teaching resources and tools to support planning, information sharing. It also supports 'personalised learning' by enabling teachers to tailor the curriculum to individual learners' needs.
