Avonbourne School

Each subject aims to provide enterprise teaching and learning in every lesson. The staff and students are committed to this ethos, an ethos where the girls take responsibility for their own learning, and the staff provide opportunities for them to develop skills such as 'solving difficult problems', 'reaching a decision', 'working independently, and as part of a team' etc. Our aim is to encourage the girls to show a 'can-do' attitude in all aspects of their lives.

The latest data (February 2010) shows that Enterprise Teaching and Learning takes place in 80% of all lessons.
