Girls Go Global aim to promote international awareness
The 3Gs is an international mini company that aims to promote international awareness at Avonbourne. They seek new opportunities and encourage knowledge and understanding of, and participation within the global community.
They are working with Avonbourne’s international link schools and hope to help improve the student’s educational experiences and to raise aspirations by inspiring future generations. For example, with Macassar School in Africa they plan to raise enough money to fund a mini bus to collect students who have to walk miles to the school and allow participation in sport matches and events at other schools. Plans to develop closer links with Kingdom School, Saudi Arabia are also underway.
